Cut_to_the_chase

Have you ever received a marketing call from a person who jumps straight into a novel-like script?

“Cutting to the chase” is generally the best way to put the main point of your message across.

Use a line that starts “…the purpose of my call” to make it clear that you have a purpose and to head off those protective receptionists who screen calls to their superiors! :)

A brief introduction, followed by the reason for the call should be a short but precise opening sentence to grab their attention and register their interest.

Then it’s important to identify whether or not the product or service you are promoting is appropriate or relevant to their business right now before you proceed to go into the details.
